Fraser Coast Aircraft Maintenance

While enjoying a planespotting endeavour at Hervey Bay Airport in January 2015, I was fortunate to visit a local aircraft maintenance company, Fraser Coast Aircraft Maintenance.

During an escorted tour of the facilities, I managed to capture a couple of light aircraft at different stages of basic servicing or deeper maintenance and was briefly informed what some requirements of aircraft maintenance entailed.

Among the action was attention being payed to the Teledyne-Continental IO-520, 6-cylinder piston engine nestled in the nose of Air Fraser Island Cessna U206G VH-TLU.
