Maryborough Aviation Services

Based at Maryborough Airport (Qld), Maryborough Aviation Services provides a comprehensive range of aircraft maintenance and refurbishment services including repainting of aircraft, upholstrey renewal / retrim, avionics upgrades aswell as pre-purchase and end-of-lease inspections to name only a few.

Proudly promoting Maryborough Aviation Services as all about caring for the customers aircraft not only from an engineering perspective but also their exterior and interior overhaul service - it is said the team at MAS are skilled, knowledgeable and willing to do their best everyday to ensure all aircraft that pass through the workshop are highly maintained and stored-with-care while in the responsible hands of the business.

At present, Maryborough Aviation Services is tasked with a major overhaul / full restoration of ex-Alligator Airways (NT) Pilatus Britten-Norman BN2A-21 Islander VH-OBJ before being delivered to it's new owner, a Vanuatu based airline.

The restoration of VH-OBJ has been a lengthy process however the task is almost complete, only a few minor jobs and some fine tuning remain before the necessary airworthy process is undertaken.

Capricorn Plane Spotting would like to sincerely thank David G of Maryborough Aviation Services for inviting us to take look at the ongoing restoration of VH-OBJ.
